Some Notes for your Charter.
Full Water & Diesel Tanks On Arrival (Fuel & water tanks must be refilled prior to departure)
(Yachts are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank of fuel unless otherwise agreed)
Bedding:- Duvets / Sleeping bags, Pillows, Linen & Towels are available for hire.
Waterproofs & Wellingtons are available for hire.
Cleaning:- There is a small mandatory cleaning charge of £130 added to the Charter Fee.
Airport Transfers (we can assist you with taxis if required)
Sailing outwith the Clyde area (optional extras available to purchase)

SeaSpray Charter Rates 2026
General Notes for Charters.
Charters for periods of less than a week are not available in the Mid or High Season.
One Way Transits.
One way transits between The Firth of Clyde and the West Coast via the Mull of Kintyre
or through the Crinan Canal will be featured for 2026 when available.
Extra Days.
Extra days Days added to a charter will be charged pro-rata for the charter period.
Discounts.
5% off for "couples/families" Two person crews or family parties
comprising two adults accompanied by children aged 16 or less.
5% off for a repeat charter where you have chartered one of our yachts before.
5% Discount for Charters booked for 2 weeks or more.
The maximum combined discount offered will be 10% of the total Charter Fee.
Booking deposits and Balance Payments.
A booking deposit of 20% of the agreed total charter price is required to confirm your booking. On receipt of that deposit, which is non-refundable, we will reserve the yacht in your name for the agreed charter period. The 80% balance of the agreed total charter price must be received by us no later than 28 days before the agreed start date of the charter.
Security deposits.
For bareboat charters, a minimum security deposit of £1500 per yacht must also be received by us no later than 7 days before the agreed start date of the charter. The amount of the security deposit may be increased, subject to a maximum total security deposit of £4000 at the time of booking if there is any intention that yacht should, during the charter period either transit the Crinan Canal or sail south or west of the Mull of Kintyre or where a cruising chute or spinnaker is hired with the yacht.
We do not normally charter our yachts where racing is involved, however if this was agreed this would also attract a security deposit of £2500. The security deposit will be refunded promptly and in full - normally within 7 days of the completion of your charter - less any charges for fuel, repairs, damage or other losses.
The Spring Season (Low Season)
The Spring Season is for charters ending before or on Monday 13th April 2026
The Early Mid Season is for for charters starting on or taking place on or after Saturday 11th April 2026.
For weekend charters available during the Spring Season the following times are set as a guideline.

Long Weekend: Thursday 4pm to Sunday 4pm
Long Weekend: Friday 4pm to Monday 4pm
Long Weekend with an extra day (4pm to 4pm)
Long Weekend with two extra days (4pm to 4pm)
Weekends attract a Charter Fee of 50% the weekly rate.
Long Weekends attract a Charter Fee of 60% the weekly rate.
Long Weekend with an extra day: 70% the weekly rate.
Long Weekend with two extra days: 80% the weekly rate.
Midweek Charters attract a Charter Fee "prorata" the weekly rate.
No discounts are available for weekend charters.
The (Early) Mid Season
The Early Mid Season is for charters starting on or taking place on or after Saturday 11th April 2026.
The Summer Season commences for charters taking place on or after Thursday 30th April 2026.
No weekend bookings are available for our yachts during the Hi Season & the Mid Season
except for late bookings (within 4 weeks)
Summer Season (High Season)
The Summer Season is for for charters taking place on or after Thursday 30th April 2026.
The Late Mid Season commences for charters taking place on or after Saturday 22nd August 2026.
