HAVANA Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44i

Havanna

Havana is a lovely spacious boat. The Saloon and the cabins give you a feeling of light airiness. She has a light cherry/oak finish and her accomodation can be adapted to suit

3 or 4 cabins as the forecabin divider is removable.

Testimonials.     What our Owner say about Havana.

We have just sailed this lovely yacht from Portsmouth as far as the Needles (The westerly extent of the Isle of Wight) in preperation for sailing her to her new to her new home, Largs Yacht Haven situated on the Ayrshire Coast in Scotland. She has behaved impeccably and has delighted us in her qualities. Not only is she a strong and very capable sailing yacht but she is lovely, warm & comfortable down below. Something you definately need  when you are sailing in January ! Once we have a window of opportunity (between the gales) we are really looking forward to the rather longer Voyage to Largs.

Simon     January 2024.

For added comfort and convenience, each version can be adapted for an owner’s use or for charter. Whatever the season or sea conditions, the Sun Odyssey 44i can go the distance. You will find comfortable design features in the cockpit, at the helm and in each cabin. Go ahead, take to the sea with a carefree spirit!
(Minimum Qualifications:- Experienced Coastal Skipper, ICC or higher)

Havana is a lovely big boat ! The Jeanneau 44i offers a huge amount of space in the cockpit and down in the saloon area. it's really light with the hatches & portholes and is complemented with light cherry/oak woodwork. It gives the crew a lovely light airy space to relax in.  The mainsheet with lazy jacks is complimented by a roller-furling genoa. All sail controls are fed back to the cockpit, which makes for easy tacking. Her large spray hood provides comfortable sailing in most conditions. In addition, she is equipped with a storm jib for “more exciting” conditions.
The transom is walk through, between the twin wheels. Stern access making for more accessible boarding – an excellent feature for anyone who finds climbing over the side problematic. There is an electric winch to make furling easy.

Saloon & Accommodation:
Havana is attractive, spacious and comfortable. With four double cabins and two additional salon berths she can accommodate a crew of 10. The forepeak can be used as a large single or a two seperate double cabins using the divider. Dining space is generous and there is a 3 burner hob, a front door fridge and a top loading freezer. The boat is equipped with central heating, hot water, an FM radio, a Raymarine 49E VHF.

Navigation:
In the chart table can be found all the necessary information, publications and documents necessary for a successful cruise. A complete set of charts for the Firth of Clyde & The West Coast are stowed at the chart table.

Summary:
Havana is an exceptionally comfortable, versatile and well maintained yacht, combining performance sailing with ease of handling and a high level of comfort below.
