Where We Sail
1. Largs & the Clyde
Come to Largs Yacht Haven. The Sailing is some of the best to be had. The Clyde Estuary provides you with some lovely sheltered Sea-Lochs. Lots of Marinas to visit, Harbours and Anchorages to suit all. Visit Rothesay. Sail through the Kyles of Bute to Tarbert, Loch Fyne. Visit Otter Ferry, before heading south to Lochranza and Lamlash on Arran. Sail to Campbeltown and then back to the Ayrshire Coast visiting Clyde Marina before returning to Largs.
2. The Whisky Trail
From Largs or from Oban you can plan your sailing to make some rather fine Distillery visits. In the Clyde there are Distilleries on Arran and at Campbeltown. There are Distilleries for you to visit in Islay.
Lagavulin, Ardbeg & Laphroag have their own moorings close to Port Ellen.
On Skye you can visit the Talisker Distillery.
You are spoiled for choice.
3. The West Coast
Oban has new Town Marina Pontoons where you can join the yacht of your choice.
From Islay in the South to the Isle of Skye in the North, and the Hebrides in the West you will have some of the best sailing in the world. Superb anchorages, magnificent scenery, interesting navigation.
All the best you can get.
