Zavaria is a Bavaria 35 Cruiser built in 2009 and launched in 2011.  She has been a boat that has been enjoyed by our family as the first owners since 2014 and been chartered for selected times during the summer season over the last 5 years.  We have had great feedback from previous charterers and many have chartered her on more than one occasion.  She has been extremely well maintained and no expense has been spared, attending to everything to ensure a great sailing experience is had by all.  This includes replacement cooker (2018), engine (2019) and tender outboard (2019).  Through hull skin fittings and seacocks were also replaced with brass fittings in 2020, and with safety always at the forefront, a new suit of lifejackets were purchased in 2020.  

Comfortable spacious accommodation in 3 separate double cabins with 2 additional berths in the main saloon.  Heads include shower and there is an additional hot and cold water shower at the fold down transom bathing platform for those of us brave enough to take a dip in the Clyde.

She benefits from having an in mast furling mainsail and furling genoa with all sheets and halyards, including the genoa car controls being led back to the spacious cockpit.  This makes her an easy boat for short handed crewing, with the auto helm helping out as an extra hand that keeps a steady course, if required.

She had a replacement new Volvo Penta D1-30 (30HP) engine in 2019 and to date has only done some 60 hours.

She has wheel steering and there is an auto helm and Garmin plotter at helming position, together with the usual instrument cluster information giving added confidence, security and satisfaction to the helm, skipper and crew on deck.

She is an easy yacht to sail and behaves well in any sea state.  At 35ft (10.7metres), she is easy to manoeuvre in any of the marinas that you may find on the west coast and is not affected by excess windage that other larger yachts and stressed skippers and crew may have to endure.  This makes the yacht an ideal charter boat by offering a stress free time when entering and leaving any of the many stopover locations in the Firth of Clyde area.  For those who prefer a bit more solitude, Zavaria benefits from an electric anchor windlass should you wish to anchor in one of the many sheltered anchorages in the area.

She has a pressurised hot and cold water system, heated both from the engine or shore power immersion heater. Eberspacher warm air heating system ensures that all cabins, saloon and the heads/shower are warm should this be needed.

The fridge has ample storage for all that you would require for a comfortable week of cruising and there is ample storage under the saloon seats for tins and dry goods etc.  There is also an electric kettle and toaster which comes in handy if you are hooked up to shore power. VHF DSC radio plus hand held VHF.

New solid teak cockpit able ideal for al fresco dining and drinks after an enjoyable days sailing.

When going ashore for dining, drinks or a quiet stroll, the fold down transom makes for easy dinghy transfer when moored or at anchor.  The Suzuki 2.5HP four stroke outboard motor, new in  2019 and regularly serviced, is supplied for the tender to ensure a quick and safe transfer ashore if the exercise of rowing is not to your liking.
